Blog break

I’m going to take a week off the blog. Holyrood and Westminster have both gone into summer recess so there should not be a huge amount of political news to report on for a while. I am still very fatigued from attending the SNP Convention in Dundee, it’s taking me longer to recover than I had hoped. I intend to spend the next week relaxing, recuperating, and avoiding politics. In the meantime you are all more than capable of chatting amongst yourselves.

I will be back, refreshed, renewed, and as snarky as ever in a week’s time.

I am currently running the blog’s annual fund raiser and would appreciate your support.  This blog has a regular readership in the tens of thousands and has 8500 email subscribers. If all those people donated just £1 per month I would not need to run an annual crowd funder, but of course that’s not how things work. I am committed to keeping this blog advert free and free to read for all. I am hoping to raise £5000 which together with the money I receive from writing for the National will pay me enough to live on and pay my bills.
