Fundraiser update

Just a quick update to let everyone know that this year’s annual fundraiser has reached its target in record time, the target of £6000 was reached on Thursday morning, within ten days of being launched. I must be doing something right, and whatever it is, I will keep on doing it for another year thanks to all the wonderful readers and supporters of this blog which has become such a huge part of my life. Many thanks to everyone, whether you made a donation, shared or liked a post online, or even just refrained from being nasty about me on social media! I’m sure there has been plenty of snideness, but since I no longer use Twitter I am immune to it. But they won’t get the satisfaction of gloating that my fundraiser has failed.
I typically keep the annual fundraiser running for a month, so it will remain open for now. Once again my heartfelt thanks, you’ve made a cynical baldy auld git very happy.
